Dr. William
Pistel arrived in Modesto in the
Spring of 2000 with his wife, two sons,
and a daughter. He received his orthopaedic
training at Michigan State University, where
he had the opportunity to work with the athletic
department and develop an interest in sports
injuries and their treatment. Prior to moving
to Modesto, Dr. Pistel had a solo practice
in North Carolina for three years. His professional
interests include sports injuries and their
treatment, adult and children fractures,
adult reconstructive surgery and wound care.
Dr. Pistel enjoys a variety of sports including
tennis, golf and weight training.
